Music-on-the-move

I don’t think I’ve blogged about this amazing little gadget ‘ere. Bro bought one for me one my birthday (thank you!) and it’s bloody brilliant (the way Ron Weasley says it in the movie)!

Nano in Hand Nano in Hand

I’m sorry about the obvious noise reduction artifacts in the first image. Couldn’t help it. ^_^ The second one was more interesting. See how it seems to levitate (I hope) above the macbook (yeah, that’s what it is). That’s cuz it’s sitting on top of a matchbox. :D

Phones will perhaps, one day, take over every function, but for the moment, things looks bright for the world of pmp-s and digital cameras. Cuz’ they’re bloody brilliant, that’s what!

Confectionaries

I got to play with my camera after a long while! I sat down with it, and the tripod, and the plate of yummies that mum’d just brought, and took a lot of photos. It’s always been my moto to click as many photos as possible. Hopefully, some of them will turn out to be good. This is the best I got out of playing some half an hour: Shot at 66mm (35mm), 4 sec, f / 9 at ISO 200. I did some photoshopping to remove the inevitable hot pixels.

There, I think that looks decent! It was quite yummy, by the way! I gotta play with the camera more! I feel rusty!

Oh yes, Sabir bought a new bike! Another Uni! This’ll be fun… ^_^

Hellgate

January 22, 2008

I just had another one of those brilliant ideas o’ mine that never come to anything. Since I seem to have so much time on my hands every night, I thought I might as well spend it chronicling what I did that day, beginning with this one, of course. Obviously, the chronicling is not the objective; it actually has a much higher purpose - to point out just how much of a waste the day was… for my benefit, that is.

I spent quite a lot of time playing today. Hellgate - London, particularly - spent a lot of time bringing it up to date too, since the original version was so buggy (big time slowdowns once in a while). Eventually I discovered that the slowdowns were partially caused by too-high graphics settings. Ah well, it didn’t look that spectacular at max settings anyway. I also spent some time studying (!).

What the fuck! Chronicling is boring! Did you read that last para?! By the heaven’s, that was disgusting!

Told you this brilliant idea would come to nothing!

Low, lower, low-(whatever)…

Red V (vee)

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.

I actually liked Natalie Portman in this movie. I liked her. Wow. I’ve always thought that she was close to inconsequential in any movie I’ve seen her in. It’s not like I’ve seen all of her movies, or even lots of them, but she was so weak in all those other roles. This one was different though. I wonder why.

I even liked her when she was completely bald! Wowie!

For those who still don’t know what I’m talking about - V For Vendetta
